About Me My Approach
My story with Pilates
I started Pilates at the age of 12, to correct my posture and back for dancing.
It's a technique I practiced throughout my career as a ballet dancer until 2011 when it ended. I have been teaching Pilates for five years.
Throughout my dancing career I have also practiced yoga, the Alexander technique, Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis and the Bo technique taught by Etienne Frey.

Early life as a Ballet Dancer
I began classical dance at the age of 7 at the Geneva Conservatory.
I then went on to pre-vocational training and went to correspondence school so that I could dance all day long.
At the age of 10 I danced a character dance solo for the graduation ceremony of the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
I then joined the pre-professional training of the Geneva Dance Academy.

At the age of 15 I entered the "Dance Area" dance school and took the pre-professional training there.
When I was 17 years old, I did an internship abroad. A summer internship at Rosella Hightower in Cannes.
When I was 18 years old I took part in the show "Semeurs d'Etoiles", a gala in favour of the foundation.

"For the love of dance"! I also danced a solo at the Fête de la Musique in Geneva.
At the age of 19 I joined the intensive programme at "L'Ecole Supérieure de Danse Contemporaine du Canada" and danced there with the Jeune Ballet du Québec.
Back in Switzerland, I danced a contemporary solo by Etienne Frey during the evening of the 20th anniversary of the foundation for the support of underprivileged children, "ASED".
In 2010, I went to Alonzo King's Lines Ballet School (San Francisco) in California.
In 2011, I had to have a 4th operation on my left knee which put an end to my professional career as a dancer.
