What is my Pilates ?
My Pilates is a Postural Pilates. The purpose of my classes is to help people understand their morphology, to become aware of their posture, and to gradually build a deep musculature starting from the perineum in order to try to work on their muscles as close as possible to their organs, their bones.
It is a very intense technique which requires a lot of body awareness but is accessible to everyone.
This technique can seduce everyone, from a sedentary person to an elite athlete!
The body must be aligned at the joint level; the muscles must learn to begin to build in this alignment in order to simply act as a support to the bones.
The goal of the Pilates method is to build muscles in length, close to the bones, which will therefore allow for the best possible mobility.
It is a technique widely used by classical dancers and has been in recent years very commercialised in the United States by models and stars.
Because it is a technique that supports and strengthens it is also very good for people who have had injuries in order to counter muscle offsets and body asymmetries.
